Season 3 begins with an episode that is full of things both biblical and helpful. But there is also a few things that don’t line up with Scripture as well. Hopefully you will find this episode guide helpful as you begin to navigate the start of Season 3!

This final episode of season 2 leads us right up the Sermon on the Mount. Sadly, rather than showing us Jesus teaching there, this episode presents us with almost entirely fictional material that leads right up to the sermon on the mount without showing us anything of what the Scriptures actually record.

It is disappointing that in an episode that is almost entirely fictional, the one part that is found in the Bible is glossed right over. Jesus begins teaching the disciples the Lord’s prayer, which fades away as soon as Jesus begins.

There is a lot made up in this episode, but that doesn’t mean that there aren’t some helpful things here too.
