Kari Noack

Worship Director

The Basics

Where did you grow up? I was born in New York State, and my family moved to Walla Walla when I was 8 years old (in 1994). At age 19 I moved to Virginia with my brother (who was in the Navy) and I met my husband there when I was 20 (2006). We lived in Virginia and North Carolina before moving back to Walla Walla in 2013.

Tell us about your family: My husband Jared and I have been married since 2007. We have four amazing kids; Cayleb, Ella, Everett, and Meadow.

When did you start working at Trinity? I started working at Trinity in March of 2023.

Personal Life & Interests

What’s your favorite way to spend a day off? Spending quality time with my family - a day at the river, hiking at Bennington Lake, or going downtown for ice cream together all sound like great ways to spend the day!

What are some of your favorite bands? I have a couple of favorite christian artists (Phil Wickham, Elevation Worship, Brandon Lake) that I enjoy while spending time in worship. When I’m feeling nostalgic, I’ll turn on old country songs that remind me of my childhood. My most listened to playlist on Spotify right now is “Folk and Acoustic.”

What are a few of your favorite books? If I’ve got an open book in front of me, it’s most likely my Bible. I find memoirs and autobiographies interesting, and for just a relaxing read I’d pick up a novel that looks good.

Coffee or tea - and what’s your go-to order? Coffee, unless I’m singing - then it’s tea. Granitas in the summer, hot vanilla or caramel lattes in the winter!

What’s one thing people might be surprised to learn about you? There are probably a lot of things people might be surprised to learn about me, but I love to share my testimony of how God has rescued me. Working in ministry doesn’t mean I’ve been a perfect Christian, and I hope people know He can rescue and use even the very broken people to bring Him glory.

Faith & Ministry

What lead to you to pursue ministry? Jared and I have served in worship ministry since we first got married. It is a gift we’ve loved and shared together, and a blessing to share it with the church.

What part of ministry excites you the most? It gives me great joy to see the next generation of Christ followers pursuing God and ministry, and following His calling on their lives. I love serving alongside my kids and their friends!

What’s one item in your office you can’t live without? My drinks - I always have coffee and water with me!

What’s one prayer you have for Trinity? I pray that we would have a deepening love for God and His Word, that we would be filled with the Holy Spirit, and that we would be bold witnesses for Christ.
