The Basics

Hometown: Phoenix, AZ.

Family: I met my husband, Robert, in Korea in 1987. We were both teaching at a missionary school in UiJongBu. He was moving to the high school level and I took over his fifth grade position. We married a year later. God has graciously blessed us with four children ranging from eighth grade to college.

Your roles and responsibilities at Trinity: My role is to help equip the Body to spread a passion for the supremacy of God in all things to the next generation. Our aim is to impart to children a vision of God, who He is, and who we are in relationship to Him. We want children to see God as the hero of every story and for them to love the Lord their God with all their hearts, minds and souls.

How you ended up at Trinity: Robert and I ended up at Trinity because of the orthodox teaching and also because we had many close friends who had invited us to attend.

Hobbies: I love swimming, hiking and skiing in my free time. When I’m worn out, I love a good book and a cup of tea.

Favorite Books: The Bible, Radical, Hudson Taylor’s Spiritual Journey, Crazy Love, Kisses for Katie, and One Thousand Gifts.

Behind The Scenes

What gets you fired up? The thing that most gets me fired up is seeing people become new creatures in Christ. Secondly, is when kids make God connections. I love the ah-ha look on their faces.

What gets you down? Too many days without sun!
